Charming Relais in Umbria
The Villa has been a noble residence and the centre of the important agricultural work of the farm. Its architecture dates back to 1780 and it retains unaltered its original characteristics: large fireplaces, murals, ancient cotto floors and period furniture. Here on the ground floor are located the reception, the "Sala della Loggia", and the "Sala Quattro Stagioni", both belonging to the restaurant "Dolium" and on the upper floor there are two public areas: the "Sala del Turchetto" and the "Sala degli Stemmi" as well as seven rooms of different categories.
The Limonaia, built in 1750 to protect in winter the lemon and orange trees of the formal Italian garden. Today it hosts our Beauty Farm "Le Muse" and in an annex of the limonaia are four Superior rooms, each with a private terrace. Casa dei Gelsi was built in 1639 and is surrounded by majestic mulberry trees (gelsi). Here are located five suites and a cosy breakfast room. Close by there is the Olivaia, the antique olive mill, with three Superior Double rooms on the first floor and is one Classic Double room and one Suite Deluxe on the ground floor.
Separated from the Olivaia by a charming cotto stairway, Olivi is a delightful stone house surrounded by centuries old olive trees, enchanting as living sculptures. The four Classic Double rooms, two on each floor, all have direct access to the garden.
